Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Senior/Lead Signal Integrity Engineer in Schaumburg, IL. You will own SI for HSIO connectors, from architecture to production transfer, interfacing with customers and internal teams.

You will lead SI efforts, perform VNA/TDR validation, and guide design reviews to meet demanding high-speed standards. This role requires 8+ years in SI with strong leadership and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of industry experience and proven SI leadership.
• Expertise with SI EM/SI tools (HFSS/CST or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Own the signal-integrity portion from architecture through validation and transfer to manufacturing.
• Translate performance requirements into connector designs, processes, and production-ready solutions.
• Conduct detailed design reviews with SI, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, applications, and global factory teams to ensure performance and engineering excellence.
• Solve advanced high-speed challenges including channel modelling, SI/PI simulation, and VNA/TDR validation.
• Support Sales and Applications Engineering during customer engagements and new opportunities.
