Job summary

Casco Signs is seeking an experienced lead installer to supervise a small crew in installing electrical signage, monuments, pylons and cabinets. The role requires travel to multiple job sites, occasional overnight travel, and the ability to work from heights.

CDL is preferred but not required; crane certification is a plus and training is offered. Ideal candidates will have sign installation experience, basic electrical knowledge, and a customer-service mindset to ensure safe, on-time project

Qualifications

• Experience installing electrical signage and related structures.
• Ability to lead a small installation team and educate assistants.
• Willingness to travel and be out of town overnight as required.
• Knowledge of basic electrical practices and safety.
• Ability to work at heights over 100 feet and operate cranes, lifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise sign installation projects to ensure quality, safety and timeliness.
• Oversee crane/bucket truck travel between job sites and coordinate crew activities.
• Perform electrical wiring of signage and installation of various signage types.
• Dig footings, weld signage, and install cabinets, monuments, pylons.
• Train and mentor the sign installation assistant.

As a lead installer, you’ll oversee a small team to make sure jobs are completed correctly, efficiently and safely.

• Sign installation experience.
• CDL license is preferred but not necessary.
• Crane Certification is preferred (Need to be able and willing to get Crane Operator certification).
• Knowledge of basic electrical practices.
• Willingness to stay until the job is done and working overtime.
• Likes to travel and complete different tasks daily.
• Ability to work at heights in excess of 100 feet.
