Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' BaPs division in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Sr. Staff Systems Integration & Test Engineer Lead for APG‑81 / Airborne Radar.

This on-site role leads complex hardware integration, lab/test benches, and flight-test activities, coordinating across software, hardware, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will be a subject-matter expert in radar hardware integration and test, with strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills to drive lab and field

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex hardware integration and test for airborne radar systems.
• Strong knowledge of lab and flight test environments and labs.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and communicate status.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level hardware integration and test for APG‑81 radar architectures.
• Oversee production follow of radar systems and LRUs through to sell‑off.
• Own and manage system integration laboratories and test benches.
• Coordinate with software, hardware, and operations teams for test readiness.
• Provide technical leadership during mode integration and troubleshooting.
• Liaise with flight test organizations and support deployments on site.
• Maintain CM/DM processes for I&T products and test documentation.
• Develop verification plans translating requirements into test requirements.
