Job summary

Gravity seeks a Shop Foreman 1 to lead and develop the in-house service team, ensuring professional maintenance of Gravity-owned fleet. You will supervise mechanics, schedule preventive maintenance, and ensure accurate documentation and tools are available for repairs.

You will diagnose complex equipment systems, train and mentor staff, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with supervisors on daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with technical schematics, manuals, and product labels.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops a consistent schedule for Mechanics and Shop Hands for preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment across fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane systems.
• Audits documentation, timesheets, and repair orders for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manages parts inventory and orders supplies for fleet.
• Trains, mentors, and develops Shop staff; ensures safe, organized workspace.
• Oversees monthly safety and equipment trainings and maintains on-call responsiveness.
