Summary/Objectives

The Lead Shop Technician will assist in fulfilling equipment sales orders primarily through rebuilding and QC processes, evaluating and quoting customer equipment requiring repairs, and managing workload and work assignments for the Production Team.

Essential Functions

1. Review and manage work schedule
2. Rebuild and/or repair various machines and medical equipment
3. Evaluate parts requirements and order as needed
4. Communicate with supervisor and co-workers
5. Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the shop
6. Maintain oversight of tools and shop equipment
7. Oversee day-to-day responsibilities of three shop technicians
8. Evaluate and quote inbound customer equipment for repair
9. Set up and operate programmable equipment
10. Quick learner with adaptability
11. Strong analytical skills
12. Valid Driver’s License required
13. Ability to deliver/transport equipment onsite to customers
