Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings in the United States is seeking a Lead Hand to join the Warehouse team. The role supports the Warehouse Superintendent, leading daily shipping/receiving, inventory control, order pulling, replenishment and staging to ensure timely, cost-effective operations.

Candidates need 3+ years warehousing experience, forklift certification, ERP systems experience (AX/JDE/SAP), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehousing or manufacturing experience in a high-volume multi-product environment.
• Experience operating shipping/loading procedures and safe truck-loading practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ERP handheld picking experience.
• Experience driving PIV equipment (LPG sit-downs, reach lifts, pallet riders).
• Proficiency in English; basic reading/interpretation of text.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pack orders; review daily work for completion.
• Receive, count and record stock; inspect for defects.
• Manage returns (RGA) and inventory control processes.
• Assist with ERP troubleshooting on handheld scanners and computer systems.
• Maintain facilities and equipment; support safety and environmental standards.
• Lead warehouse team efforts and conduct cycle counts.
• Perform audits and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
