Job summary

FALCATA in Huntsville, AL is seeking a skilled warehouse associate to ensure materials are received, stored, and shipped according to specifications. You will verify purchase orders, maintain inventory control, and support production scheduling while upholding security and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include selecting and developing staff, maintaining documentation, and improving operational methods.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory, and finished goods are packaged and shipped timely.
• Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure open purchase orders and correct material quality.
• Maintains security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
• Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped per marketing schedules.
• Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.
• Maintains documentation reflecting the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
• Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
• The employee may stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle objects, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds; vision requirements apply.
