Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Shipping Lead / Shipping & Logistics Coordinator in Tulsa, OK. You will oversee outbound shipping, coordinate transportation providers, prepare shipping documentation, and safely load large equipment onto flatbed trailers.

The role requires organized communication and strong attention to detail to ensure on-time delivery and accurate records. The position is first-shift, with potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, logistics or warehouse operations.
• Experience coordinating trucking carriers, especially flatbeds.
• Proficiency with TMS and customer logistics portals.
• Experience preparing Bills of Lading and freight documentation.
• Ability to load large equipment safely onto flatbeds.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments and schedule transportation.
• Arrange flatbed and specialized freight carriers to meet delivery requirements.
• Enter shipment details and tracking info into portals.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Lading and freight documents.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams on schedules.
• Load equipment onto flatbeds using material handling equipment.
• Verify shipment accuracy and secure loads per safety standards.
• Track shipments and resolve transport issues.
