Job summary

Inteplast Group Corporation is seeking a Shipping Coordinator Lead to oversee outbound shipping in a paper manufacturing setting. You will coordinate daily shipping activities, manage documentation, and drive on‑time deliveries while minimizing freight costs.

The role requires 3–5 years in shipping/logistics, leadership experience, and proficiency with ERP/WMS systems. You will collaborate with production, warehouse, and customer service teams and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
3–5 years of experience in shipping, logistics or warehouse operations.
Experience in a lead or senior role is a plus.
Knowledge of freight operations (LTL, FTL, flatbed, rail).
Experience with ERP/WMS systems and AS400/IBS is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily shipping activities for finished paper products, carriers, and documentation.
Ensure on‑time delivery and minimize freight costs.
Serve as primary on‑the‑floor contact for shipping questions.
Prioritize workloads and assign tasks to shipping personnel.
Collaborate with production and warehouse to align schedules.
Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and export documents.
Communicate with carriers to arrange pickups and resolve issues.
Train new employees and reinforce standard operating procedures.
Maintain accurate ERP/WMS records and analyze shipping data.
Support continuous improvement in logistics efficiency and costs.
