Job summary

Ben & Jerry's Connecticut is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team of scoopers and shift leads, coaching on the floor and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will manage daily operations, from cash handling to scheduling, and foster a positive, high-energy atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in food service or retail.
• Clear, confident communication skills for coaching and guest interactions.
• Reliability, a positive attitude, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support scoopers and shift leads during busy shifts and slower periods.
• Oversee daily operations, including cash handling, inventory checks, scheduling, and opening/closing procedures.
• Set and model high standards for friendly, efficient guest service and show others how to deliver it.
• Motivate your team, give feedback, and help each person grow and contribute to shared goals.
• Support community events, local partnerships, and shop initiatives that build our brand and reputation.
