Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Retrofit Foreman I - Sheet Metal to lead a field crew in commercial HVAC retrofit and sheet metal installations, repairs, and upgrades. You will coordinate with superintendents and project managers, oversee ductwork modifications, equipment retrofits, and system installations, and drive safety, quality, and profitability on projects.

• Minimum 5 years of field experience in commercial HVAC/sheet metal installation, retrofit, and service.
• Experience leading crews and managing on-site execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a sheet metal crew on daily retrofit and service tasks for various HVAC systems.
• Coordinate scheduling with stakeholders and provide daily project updates.
• Read, interpret, and execute from blueprints and specifications for accurate installation and integration.
• Oversee installations, retrofits, and replacements ensuring codes and standards compliance.
• Manage on-site functions including timecards, scheduling, and reporting with digital tools.
• Enforce safety protocols including job hazard analyses and PPE usage.
• Interact professionally with customers and build relationships.
• Document work accurately with logs, photos, and as-builts.
