PMEP is seeking a seasoned Sheet Metal Foreman to lead field crews in installing, fabricating, and assembling ductwork and related HVAC components on commercial and industrial projects. You will ensure safe, reliable, and code-compliant work while serving as the primary liaison between crews and project management.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, and the ability to read mechanical drawings and shop drawings.

Formación

• Experience leading sheet metal installation crews on commercial/industrial HVAC projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and shop drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA standards.

Responsabilidades

• Crew Leadership: Supervise sheet metal installers, apprentices, and helpers to ensure productivity and quality.
• Planning & Coordination: Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan daily work, material needs, and manpower requirements.
• Installation Oversight: Ensure accurate installation of ductwork, fittings, supports, and accessories per project requirements.
• Quality Control: Inspect completed work for adherence to specifications, code compliance, and company standards.
• Safety Management: Promote and enforce safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Scheduling & Reporting: Coordinate with project managers regarding scheduling, progress updates, and workforce needs.
• Material Management: Track material usage, request deliveries, and minimize waste.
• Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and on-the-job training to apprentices and less-experienced workers.
• Problem Solving: Identify field issues and work with project teams to resolve conflicts.
