SALT Service Co. is seeking a customer-focused Lead-Setting Electrical Technician to perform residential electrical maintenance services while identifying opportunities to improve our customers' homes. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys educating homeowners, providing exceptional service, and generating qualified leads for larger electrical projects.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary objective of this position is to deliver outstanding maintenance services while creating opportunities for our electrical sales and installation teams through qualified lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical maintenance and safety inspections.
- Diagnose minor electrical issues and educate homeowners on recommended solutions.
- Generate qualified leads for electrical replacements, rewires, panel upgrades, lighting projects, and other home service departments.
- Maintain exceptional customer service and professionalism on every appointment.
- Complete all required ServiceTitan documentation, inspection reports, invoices, and customer notes accurately and promptly.
- Capture required photos and videos during appointments.
- Follow all company safety standards and operating procedures.
- Assist with company projects when service calls are unavailable, including:
- Supporting installation teams
- Assisting with company facilities or properties
- Community outreach events
- Other duties assigned by management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company vehicle.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $25.00 per hour
- Eligible for overtime pay on all approved hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek.
Lead Generation Incentives
- $100 spiff for every qualified lead to Plumbing/HVAC and only a $25 Lead for Electrical (with 2% possible earnings of Full-service replacement, Rewires, & Lighting Projects).

Work Schedule Expectations
Clock-In
- Attend required morning meetings and training as scheduled.
- If reporting to the office, work begins upon arrival (no earlier than 6:55 AM, unless directed otherwise).
- If reporting directly to the first service call, work begins upon arrival at the first appointment.
Meal Breaks
- Meal breaks are optional but must be clocked out if taken.
Clock-Out
- Work ends upon completion of the final service call.
- If returning to the office for company business (such as dropping off an apprentice), clock out upon arrival at the office.
Documentation Requirements
Technicians are expected to complete:
- ServiceTitan invoices
- Inspection reports
- Customer notes
- Photos and videos
- Required job documentation
Failure to complete required documentation may delay incentive or commission payments.
Additional Expectations
- Waiving after-hours service fees will result in forfeiture of any associated incentive payments.
- Warranty recall work resulting from the technician's workmanship may affect incentive eligibility.
- Technicians are expected to maintain a high standard of workmanship to minimize callbacks and warranty claims.
- Overtime must receive prior management approval.
Qualifications
- Residential electrical experience preferred.
- Active Texas electrical license (Apprentice, Residential Wireman, or Journeyman, depending on company requirements).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and generate qualified replacement opportunities.
- Experience using tablets and field service software is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in residential environments, including attics and crawl spaces.
