The ideal candidate will have 5–8+ years as a service technician with leadership experience, strong repair process knowledge, and a commitment to safety and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a service technician
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred
• Strong understanding of service operations, repair processes, and maintenance standards
• High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the technical quality and performance of service technicians through audits and inspections
• Drive accountability for customer service standards and technician performance
• Conduct technician quality audits, PM audits, and safety compliance checks
• Provide hands-on coaching, training, and development to improve technician skillsets
• Lead technician onboarding, including training plans and competency development
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions and improvement plans
• Promote adherence to service processes and documentation standards
• Lead hiring and performance management of service technicians
• Collaborate with Service Manager on initiatives and continuous improvement
• Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, first-time fix rate, and rework
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Support scheduling adherence and workforce productivity
