Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (On-Call Rotation)

Payrate: $23/hr

Location: Guilderland, NY

Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with skills in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance. If you have technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair issues in appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
2. Complete service requests and repairs according to company procedures.
3. Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status according to standards.
4. Maintain grounds and curb appeal through landscaping and trash management.
5. Complete work orders promptly.
6. Perform on-call duties during off-hours and emergencies on a scheduled basis.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Availability for on-call rotations every 3 weeks.
• Basic English speaking and understanding skills.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and present oneself professionally.

We comply with Pay Transparency Laws. The listed pay rate is hourly. Benefits such as health insurance are available after 60 days of employment, provided you work an average of 30 hours per week. To enroll, complete the enrollment packet, with benefits starting the following month.
