A leading company in telecommunications seeks a Lead Infrastructure Technician to oversee cabling projects. The role involves extensive travel (up to 75%) and requires 3 years of cabling experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Exceptional communication and customer service skills are essential for this position, which supports clients directly on-site.
This position can be remote if necessary and requires 3 years of cabling experience, with a minimum of 1 year as project lead managing other techs. You will spend up to 75% of the time traveling to customer job sites.
The pay range is $26-$30/hr.

The Lead Infrastructure Technician installs, maintains, and troubleshoots cabling and fiber infrastructure, and installs and connects various network devices. They work directly with engineers, project managers, and customers to review work orders and project scope, understanding telecommunications standards and customer needs to provide recommendations. Clear communication via email and phone is essential, along with attention to detail and a high sense of urgency.
The candidate must be able to travel and work out of town regularly.
