Summary

The Commercial Installation Lead provides customer equipment installation of HVACR and/or commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, grills, ovens, freezers).

Details:

• Mentor, lead, and motivate team members in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
• Install commercial HVACR and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team regarding repairs and status updates.
• Order parts and communicate with the branch as needed.
• Document tasks (parts/work orders, timesheets) accurately and promptly.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms per policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• Three years of installation experience with commercial kitchen and/or HVACR equipment (e.g., RTUs, chillers).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful background check and drug screening required.
• Valid Driver's License and driving record that meet safety standards.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to lead and work within a team.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; plumbing experience is a plus.
• HVAC certification, journeyman, or contractor license is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Working / Environmental Conditions:

• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Extensive travel to work sites.
• Exposure to high and low temperature environments.
• Repetitive bending, twisting, kneeling, and ladder climbing.
• Exposure to electrical, steam, and high heat hazards requiring safety precautions.
