Lincare in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a dedicated professional to perform home safety evaluations, educate patients and caregivers on ordered equipment, and demonstrate safe operation of HME. The role includes patient delivery, setup, and training on basic use of DME, as well as supporting warehouse duties and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes courteous service to patients and referrers, routine vehicle maintenance, and active involvement in staff supervision and coaching.

Responsabilités

• Completes appropriate home safety evaluation and patient/caregiver education related to ordered equipment and supplies
• Performs equipment setup, orientation, and demonstration of the safe operation and use of HME
• Assists in general warehouse duties such as stocking, rotating inventory, receiving, shipping, and processing equipment and supplies
• Ensures courteous and efficient service is provided daily to patient base and referral sources
• Ensures proper regulatory compliance is maintained as it pertains to FDA, ACHC, DOT, and HIPPA
• Delivers and sets up DME equipment and instructs patients on the basic use
• Loads and unloads DME equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies onto delivery truck and ensures it's properly secured and organized
• Cleans and function tests all incoming dirty equipment as needed and assists with ordering and stocking of warehouse equipment and supplies
• Ensures all routine vehicle maintenance is scheduled and performed as outlined by DOT Polices
• Assists with hiring, coaching, performance appraisals, and disciplining of subordinate staff
• Assists with daily supervision of departmental staff
