Job summary

Tri-Counties Regional Center in Santa Barbara is seeking a Lead Service Coordinator II to oversee the Services and Supports Team, ensuring person-centered practices and leading in the manager’s absence. You will mentor staff, review plans for compliance, and connect individuals with community resources to promote independent living.

The role blends direct service with supervision, enabling collaboration with families, schools, and agencies while maintaining a reduced caseload and high standards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with individuals, families, and partners.
• Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities for training team members and covering leadership duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and mentoring to new employees and coordinate ongoing team training.
• Support individuals and families with person-centered planning and service coordination.
• Review case records for Medicaid Waiver compliance and IPP/IFSP approvals.
• Coordinate and secure TCRC funded services including various supports and placements.
• Lead planning meetings and facilitate collaboration with community partners.
