Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking a Lead Server in our West Chester area community. You will play a key role in supporting residents during meals, ensuring accuracy of daily menus, and monitoring food intake to enhance well-being.

You will also hire and train servers, coach the team, schedule staff, and step in as needed to cover dining shifts, helping maintain smooth operation and a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents as needed in completion of their daily menus.
• Monitor Residents' food intake.
• Interview prospective servers and make recommendations to Executive Director regarding hiring decisions.
• Train servers by example in job requirements and orient them to Community operations.
• Schedule staff according to Community guidelines, and state regulations.
• Provide coaching and supervision to serving staff, including termination if appropriate.
• Fill in as server if short-staffed in dining room.
