KemperSports Management in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Lead Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service and to serve as an on-floor leader for the service team. This role trains new servers, reinforces club service standards, and assists with daily service execution.

It also serves as the point person for banquet and event setup, ensuring spaces are prepared per BEOs and management direction. A hands-on position that partners with F&B management to provide professional service for

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, banquet, or food & beverage service.
• Ability to train and coach team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet all applicable food and alcohol service requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional, attentive food and beverage service to members and guests.
• Serve as an on-floor leader and resource for servers during daily operations.
• Train new servers on service standards, procedures, POS use, menu knowledge, and member interaction.
• Provide ongoing coaching and reinforce established Club service standards.
• Act as the point person for banquet and special event setup when needed.
• Review BEOs and ensure event spaces are set according to specifications.
• Coordinate tables, chairs, linens, place settings, service stations, and other banquet setup requirements.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and ensure assigned areas are properly maintained.
