Job summary

BrowserStack is seeking a Lead - SEO to drive organic growth across traditional search engines and AI-driven answer engines. You will own strategy with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and focus on qualified traffic, pipeline impact, and visibility aligned to company goals.

You will work hands-on with data tools (GSC, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs) and manage content strategy, keyword research, and technical SEO across multiple markets from a remote-first setup based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on and strategic SEO experience, preferably SaaS or B2B.
• Experience contributing to or owning SEO strategy execution with measurable impact.
• Strong understanding of AI search, AEO/GEO, and LLM-driven content discovery.
• Deep expertise in keyword research, intent mapping, and content strategy.
• Solid technical SEO knowledge (indexing, crawlability, JS SEO, site architecture).
• Experience collaborating across teams; mentoring junior team members is a plus.
• Hands-on with GSC, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs, and SEO diagnostic tools.
• Ability to think clearly, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
• Experience across multiple markets or regions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and contribute to the end-to-end SEO and AEO/GEO strategy aligned with company OKRs.
• Build and execute organic growth plans across traditional search engines and AI-driven answer platforms.
• Identify and prioritize high-intent opportunities across the funnel (TOFU → BOFU).
• Support positioning the brand as a trusted source for AI-generated answers.
• Lead keyword, topic, and entity research with strong intent mapping.
• Decide what content to build, why, and how it drives business impact.
• Collaborate with content writers to embed SEO, UX, and clarity from the start.
• Apply UX principles to content structure, tone, layout, and usability.
• Track and analyze performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design to support SEO.
• Directly report business impact of SEO initiatives to leadership & ideate growth strategies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SEO or content team members.
