Job summary

Poss Architecture + Planning and Interior Design is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead design development through construction, collaborating with designers, consultants, contractors, clients, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes design sensitivity, technical depth, mentorship, and hands-on coordination in demanding architectural environments, including mountain communities and resort contexts.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture is required.
• Approximately 10+ years of architectural experience with substantial project delivery responsibility.
• Architectural licensure strongly preferred.
• Experience with high-end custom residential architecture and coordination with commercial, hospitality, resort, multifamily, or mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural development and technical execution of complex projects.
• Coordinate from design development through construction documentation and administration.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project architects, designers, and technical staff.
• Collaborate to protect and strengthen the architectural design intent across disciplines.
• Manage consultant coordination and integration of structural, MEP, civil, landscape, lighting, and specialty systems.
• Lead quality-control reviews and uphold firm standards for documentation and detailing.
