Job summary

Studio AR&D Architects, a Los Angeles‑based firm, seeks a Project Architect to lead technical development and delivery from concept through construction. The role demands strong leadership, coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors, and a deep understanding of building systems and detailing.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee QA/QC, and ensure adherence to office standards while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment in Southern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture required.
• Architect license required.
• 8–15+ years of professional experience, preferably in high-end residential or design-focused projects.
• Extensive experience in technical design, development, detailing, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the technical development of design and construction documents from concept through construction administration.
• Collaborate with contractors and material suppliers to achieve constructability.
• Mentor junior staff and provide redlining and technical guidance.
• Coordinate with Job Captains, design staff and consultants for high-quality project delivery.
• Lead project meetings with clients and consultants to ensure design intent and compliance.
