Job summary

Enbridge Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for facility expansion and maintenance capital projects delivered by third‑party engineering firms.

You will ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, codes, and Company standards while coordinating with Project Execution, Operations, Shared Services, Supply Chain, and Construction teams. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, 6+ years of design and commissioning experience, and preferably

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering design and commissioning.
• Preference for a Professional Engineer (PE) designation.
• Strong knowledge of 480V systems, motor controls, VFDs, MV switchgear, and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical project scopes, schedules, cost estimates, execution plans, risk assessments, and supporting information.
• Ensure facilities comply with regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements and company standards.
• Oversee third-party engineers and manage design deliverables against budgets and schedules.
• Review drawings, reports, material lists, and vendor quotes; support procurement with Supply Chain.
• Provide technical support during construction and mentor junior engineers.
