Job summary

Enbridge seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for facility expansion and maintenance projects across the United States. You will ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements, industry codes, and company standards.

Responsibilities include supervising third‑party firms, approving drawings and bids, and supporting procurement. Strong communication and mentorship skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• 6+ years progressive experience in electrical design and commissioning.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of 480V systems, motor controls, VFDs, switchgear and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for facility expansion and maintenance capital projects.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and company standards.
• Oversee third‑party engineering firms and manage deliverables within budgets and schedules.
• Review drawings, reports, bids, and vendor quotations; support procurement with Supply Chain.
• Provide technical support during construction and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, Shared Services, and external partners.
