Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and train staff in a benefits/employment services setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently within policies.
  • Ability to interpret financial assistance programs and apply relevant laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead worker and assist supervisor by conducting program training for staff, reviewing case files and providing back-up supervision of staff.
  • Provide consultation on complex cases and policy questions to staff.
  • Prepare case records and reports and manage complex and sensitive cases.
  • Coordinate training programs and orientation for new employees and clients.
  • Coordinate with community resources for job readiness and development.
  • Facilitate motivational and job readiness programs.
