Job summary

Pavion seeks a Lead Security Technician to join our integration business unit in Chantilly, VA. You will lead large, complex installations for fire, security, and communications systems, coordinating with multiple teams and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications include an associate degree or technical certification and 7+ years in electronic security installation, with knowledge of major platforms and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, IT, Networking or related field.
• 7+ years of electronic security installation experience, including lead technician or field supervisor.
• Manufacturer certifications in common platforms and ESA/NTS or NICET are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate scope, time line, design and budget for large projects to management and client.
• Ensure timely completion, quality, and customer satisfaction at project closeout.
• Assemble and install large low voltage systems and coordinate with teams and clients.
• Troubleshoot complex systems and resolve issues.
• Direct technicians to meet project requirements and manage supplies.
