Job summary

Datawatch Systems in Bethesda, MD seeks a Lead Technician Level I to install and service access control, intrusion, and CCTV systems. You will interact with clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure on-time completion and high-quality installations.

The role follows a 7 am - 3 pm schedule, with pre-employment screenings and background checks. Travel may be required; DCJS#11-2294 referenced for compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in installing commercial access control, video systems, low voltage or wiring.
• Knowledge of building, fire and life safety codes related to construction/electrical.
• High School diploma or GED required; electronics/electrical cert desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install and service access control, intrusion and CCTV systems.
• Pull cable, rough-in, install conduit, terminate at devices and headend.
• Identify schedule risks and communicate with supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of new services, technology, and internal processes.
