Job summary

Datawatch Systems in Bethesda, MD seeks an entry-level candidate for an Lead Technician Level II role focused on learning security installation techniques. You will gain hands-on experience with access control and CCTV fundamentals while working on on-site projects across DC/MD/VA areas.

Pay ranges from $25 to $32 per hour, with benefits and paid time off. EOE/M/F/V/D. DCJS #11-2294. Travel may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to obtain/maintain state driving license and safe driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check, motor vehicle, and drug screening required.
• Must obtain Virginia 35E license and MD electronic security license including FBI fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation techniques for access control and CCTV systems.
• Learn to read floor plans and electrical drawings relevant to security systems.
• Follow Building, Fire, and Life Safety codes during installation.
• Provide dependable on-site support and communication with team.
