Definitive Electronics in Jupiter, FL is seeking a Lead Security Technician to lead installation, programming, and testing of wired and wireless security systems. This role requires hands-on field work and the ability to manage projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the alarm/security industry with programming experience on Elk, Honeywell, and DSC platforms, plus a valid driver\'s license. In-person, full-time hours with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read & interpret blueprints.
• Lead security projects from start to finish.

• Documentation: read, execute, update as needed.
• Troubleshooting.
• Complete post-installation checklists.

Lead Security Technician

Department: Technician

Reporting To: Kevin, Service Operations Manager

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 / hour

Description

Join our team and help keep your community safe! We're looking for experienced, lead level Alarm Technician with strong programming experience to help protect the homes and businesses in your community.

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Location:

• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
• 1097 Jupiter Park Ln Ste 3, Jupiter, FL 33458

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm

Your Manager:

• Kevin, Service Operations Manager

Your Contribution to Definitive Electronics:

• Read & Interpret Blueprints
