Job summary

Metro Fire + Security in Arizona is seeking a Lead Installation Security Technician to install, service and replace alarm, camera, and access systems. The role requires deep hands-on experience with reading wiring diagrams, leading a team, and communicating clearly with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in security, ability to travel across job sites, and readiness to obtain DPS Fingerprint clearance and Alarm Agent License within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years prior security work experience
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Excellent communication skills with customers
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites and work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Install security systems per provided job scopes and drawings
• Install and service access control systems
• Install and service IP based camera systems
• Install and service alarm systems
• Lead technicians on the team and read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Communicate equipment issues and potential solutions to customers
• Train customers on effective utilization of equipment and systems
• Maintain customer files with accurate work orders and parts used
• Respond promptly to customer questions and concerns
• Maintain compliance with safety programs and obtain necessary certifications
