Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Lead Security Officer in Hillsboro, OR for full-time work. You will lead on-duty officers, coordinate staffing, and communicate operational updates during the 8:00–16:00 shift.

The role requires strong leadership, reliability, and attention to detail. You will complete daily reports, respond to incidents, and maintain professional contact with clients and management. Benefits include medical and 401K, paid training, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Providing direction and support to on-duty security officers.
• Coordinating staffing, breaks, shift coverage, and post assignments.
• Conducting shift briefings and communicating operational updates.
• Monitoring officer performance, attendance, appearance, and professionalism.
• Ensuring accurate completion of daily activity reports, incident reports, and required documentation.
• Responding to incidents and escalating concerns through the established chain of command.
• Supporting employee training and reinforcing site-specific procedures.
• Maintaining professional communication with the personnel, contractors, visitors, and Securitas management.
• Assisting with investigations, screening failures, access-control concerns, and emergency response.
• Helping maintain continuous, compliant, and professional security operations.

Wage: $26.52/HR

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 0800 - 1600
