Job summary

4S Security is seeking a Lead Security Installation Technician to manage the installation of intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and intercom systems on client projects. You will work with lead installers, technicians, and project teams to deliver high-quality, on-time results.

Responsibilities include installing per drawings and codes, testing systems, documenting work orders, and maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Security Technician or similar role.
Experience with networks, control systems, intercoms, CCTV, and access control.
Ability to work with a team and communicate with project stakeholders; maintain service records.

Responsibilities

Accurately install intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and intercom systems according to drawings and codes.
Test and commission all systems to ensure full functionality and user satisfaction.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain security systems with minimal downtime and keep service records.
Complete installations and service calls efficiently while minimizing waste and rework.
Use field software for time entry, project status, drawings, and photos; ensure on-time documentation.
Follow safety protocols and conduct risk assessments; report hazards immediately.
Act as a knowledgeable contact during service calls and installations, explaining system functions to clients.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure smooth project execution.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance and customer experience.
