Job summary

CBX Solutions is hiring a Lead Technician responsible for installing and configuring access control devices, CCTV, NVRs, and related security hardware. You will lead a small crew, coordinate with project managers, ensure timelines, safety, and quality across multiple sites.

The role involves installation in both new construction and retrofit environments, with travel to project sites. OSHA-10 and multiple certifications in VMS and access control are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in basic configuration of physical security systems.
• OSHA‑10 certification is required.
• Certificate in at least two VMS systems and at least two access control systems is required.
• Background check and drug test pre‑employment are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation crew (2–4 techs) to meet project milestones.
• Install and configure access control devices and electrified door hardware.
• Install and connect access control panels, power supplies, and control equipment.
• Install and program CCTV cameras (analog/IP) and NVRs/VMS platforms.
• Install cabling and pathway systems to support security systems.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Field Supervisors to align tasks.
