Job summary

Homeland Safety Systems is seeking an Installation Technician to install and service electronic control systems for new and existing customers. Based in Louisiana with up to 60% travel, you will lead a technician crew, install wiring, connect control panels, and train customers on software and equipment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in low voltage/access control, strong schematics reading, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years in low voltage and access control with prior team lead experience.
Must pass state and federal background checks and drug screening.
Willingness to travel up to 60% and work nights/weekends.
Proficient in reading electrical schematics and site maps.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Install and service access control, CCTV, and alarm systems per wiring diagrams.
Lead a technician crew on projects as needed.
Coordinate with Operations staff and customers.
Document work performed and maintain tool/equipment records.
Train customers on software and equipment usage.
Perform site inspections and review plans before work.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and policies.
