Job summary

Biztec LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Technician to lead installations on commercial security projects, focusing on access control and low-voltage cabling. You will install, commission, and mentor junior installers while ensuring code compliance and top quality.

This role requires 3–5 years of field experience, active license in Alarm/ELE/Low Voltage, and the ability to read blueprints and NEC standards. Weekly travel is required with per diem and hotel accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• Active license: Alarm, ELE, or Low Voltage.
• 3–5 years of experience in physical security installations.
• Advanced understanding of access control and cable runs.
• Familiarity with NEC and blueprints.
• Able to read schematics and riser diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, and commissioning of access control and CCTV systems.
• Program and troubleshoot advanced access control installations.
• Plan and execute low-voltage cable runs to NEC standards.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and riser diagrams.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system and network issues.
• Mentor junior installers and coordinate with project management.
• Maintain tools, vehicle, and inventory; ensure safety on site.
