Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial low-voltage or security system installation experience.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, or alarm systems.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, wiring, device termination, and system testing.
• Basic networking and IT infrastructure knowledge, including IPv4 addressing and device connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission access control systems and related hardware.
• Install and connect reader devices, locks, sensors, and cameras.
• Configure software, set permissions, and integrate with CCTV or alarm platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networks, and power issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document changes.
