Job summary

MISUMI Americas is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to own and drive security across our global infrastructure and AI deployments. You will secure our physical and cloud networking, manage IAM and access controls, and coordinate incident response with cross-functional teams.

You will shape security policies with leadership, oversee audits and compliance programs like SOC 2 and NIST, and balance day-to-day security operations with strategic risk reduction across MISUMI Americas.

Qualifications

• Senior-level, proven expertise across security domains including IAM, infrastructure and cloud security, governance and compliance.
• Hands-on incident investigation experience and the ability to act as escalation point for threats.

Responsibilities

• Be the hands-on security lead across IT and engineering, executing daily security work.
• Impact security policy, governance, and prioritize security projects across MISUMI Americas' global operations.
• Lead incident response, investigate incidents, coordinate the response, and escalate as needed.
• Secure infrastructure across physical networking and cloud, manage IAM roles and permissions, and enforce least privilege.
