MISUMI Americas seeks a hands-on Lead Security Engineer to direct security across infrastructure and cloud, manage IAM, and drive incident response. You’ll help shape global security policies, govern AI tool use, and ensure evidence for audits like SOC 2 and CMMC 2.0 across a multi-site environment.

You will collaborate with security leadership and engineering teams to implement secure shipping practices and maintain repeatable security processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security leadership across infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Experience supporting audit and compliance programs like SOC 2, NIST 800-53/800-171, CMMC 2.0, and J-SOX.
• Clear communication across a globally distributed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead security day-to-day work securing infrastructure and code.
• Manage IAM, security groups, and permission policies with least-privilege.
• Coordinate threat detection and incident response across teams.
• Shape security policies and standards with leadership.
• Oversee AI security policies and safe integrations.
• Automate access reviews, monitoring, and reporting.
