Job summary

The San Francisco Airport Commission is seeking a Security Access Office Supervisor I (9235) for a provisional to permanent appointment. The role oversees fingerprinting, badging, and clearance programs at the Security Access Office, ensuring accurate and confidential handling of airport credentials.

You will supervise staff, monitor compliance with TSA and federal regulations, prepare reports, manage purchasing and budgets, and coordinate with regulators and tenants to keep the badging program

Qualifications

• Current Provisional Employee in Class 9235 who has worked at least 2,080 hours in Class 9235.
• Educational requirement: High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of verifiable administrative experience in security operations or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversees fingerprinting, badging, and clearance programs and issues airport security badges.
• Responds to security access issues raised by employees, contractors, or stakeholders.
• Audits logs and reports to ensure compliance with policy and regulations and prepares incident reports.
• Manages departmental purchasing, supply inventories, and budgets.
• Collaborates with departments and regulatory agencies to maintain up-to-date standards and regulatory compliance.
