Job summary

City and County of San Francisco is seeking an Airport Security ID Technician to support federally regulated aviation security operations. You will act as the primary contact for employers and employees obtaining SFO IDs, process badge requests, collect fees, and ensure compliance with TSA directives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED or High School Proficiency Examination) required.
• Two years of progressively responsible clerical experience in a high-volume public contact office.
• Experience substitution: a 240-hour clerical training program may substitute for up to 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify applicant identification and authenticity of identity.
• Respond to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries in a timely manner.
• Process airport badge applications for compliance with TSA/ASP regulations.
• Maintain and audit the Airport Identity Management System (AIDMS).
• Assist in administering the Security Key Control Program and provide customer service.
