Job summary
FastTek Global is seeking an experienced Accessories Design Release Engineer, Seat Complete to lead the design and release of Seat Complete systems for our vehicles in Troy, MI. You will drive APQP documentation, DFMEA, DVP&R, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.
You will collaborate with Purchasing and Vehicle Integration to source components, validate performance, and deliver robust seating solutions that align with vehicle
Qualifications
- APQP documentation ownership including DFMEA, Engineering Specifications, DVP&R, Drawings, and Control Plans.
- Functional knowledge of NHTSA / FMVSS, CARB, EPA, FCC, or other regulatory requirements.
- Experience releasing components and processing engineering changes within PLM.
- Strong technical writing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of Seat Complete systems’ cost, weight, and functional targets.
- Design and release of Seat Complete hardware and software.
- Manage APQP documentation and product validation activities.
- Collaborate with Purchasing for component sourcing and supplier reviews.
- Release seating components with Vehicle Integration teams to meet vehicle targets.
