Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the Antioch area, with opportunities to mentor SLPAs and CFs. You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP-driven goals, provide direct therapy, and collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and families to support student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active CA SLP License (or eligibility).
• Prior pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Passion for mentorship, collaboration, and supporting clinician growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) and support interventions across school settings.
• Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with SLPAs, providing clinical guidance and oversight.
• Provide CF supervision, mentorship, and professional development support to emerging clinicians.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, pragmatics, and AAC.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families; collaborate with teachers and school staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school/state guidelines.
