Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students in Antioch, CA. The role includes mentorship and supervision of SLPAs and CFs, with leadership opportunities in clinical development.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active California SLP license (or eligibility).
• Experience supervising SLPAs and/or CF mentorship preferred.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Passion for mentorship, collaboration, and clinician growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) and support evidence-based interventions.
• Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with SLPAs, with clinical guidance and oversight.
• Provide CF supervision, mentorship, feedback, and professional development support.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, pragmatics, and AAC.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families and school staff.
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and ensure compliance with guidelines.
