Job summary

Clayton County Public Schools is seeking a School Nutrition Catering Manager at a high school to supervise daily food service operations and coordinate with the menu team on catering needs. Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in food service or related position in a K-12 public school or large public setting.
• ServSafe certification required; complete Manager Pathway Courses within five years of employment.
• Strong managerial, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily preparation of breakfast, lunch and snacks using standardized recipes.
• Monitors food quality and presentation; ensures meals are reimbursable.
• Supervises and trains staff; maintains production and cleaning schedules.
• Procures catering foods and supplies; establishes preliminary catering costs.
• Maintains inventory records and catering reports for accountability.
• Enforces HACCP and health department standards; ensures safety and hygiene.
• Losters to engage staff and encourage student participation in cafeteria activities.
