Job summary

Laurens County School District 56's Clinton High School is seeking a Child Nutrition School Cafeteria Manager to oversee daily food service operations.

The role runs 190 days per school year, 8 hours daily from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with a November/December 2026 start and November 2, 2026 deadline.

Responsibilities include directing food prep, planning production, ordering and securing supplies, supervising staff, and ensuring safety and sanitation under Serv-Safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in quantity food service preferred.
• Must pass Serv-Safe.

Responsibilities

• Directs the preparation of food according to recipes and procedures.
• Plans food production for the following day by directing preparation of items.
• Assesses quantity of food to order, prepare and serve according to meal counts.
• Secures food and supplies; receives and verifies deliveries.
• Provides instruction and directs performance of other food service workers.
• Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates kitchen cleaning functions.
• Observes and promotes safe work practices and procedures.
