Davie County Schools is seeking a Maintenance III for the Mocksville facility. The role covers advanced maintenance, repair, installation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of district facilities, systems, and equipment under limited supervision.

The position requires strong knowledge across building trades, the ability to diagnose complex issues, and guidance to other staff. Valid NC driver's license and immediate availability are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade-related training or certifications preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance, construction, or skilled trades is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license.
• State licensure or advanced trade certification may be required for duties assigned.

Responsabilités

• Performs advanced maintenance, repair, installation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of district facilities, equipment, and building systems.
• Inspects facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety and functionality.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex maintenance problems independently.
• Leads large or complex maintenance projects and provides guidance to other staff.
• Maintains maintenance records and completes work orders accurately.
• Participates in safety training and professional development.
