Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade-related training or certifications preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance, construction, or skilled trades is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license.
• State licensure or advanced trade certification may be required for duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced maintenance, repair, installation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of district facilities, equipment, and building systems.
• Inspects facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety and functionality.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex maintenance problems independently.
• Leads large or complex maintenance projects and provides guidance to other staff.
• Maintains maintenance records and completes work orders accurately.
• Participates in safety training and professional development.
