Job summary

Davie County Schools is seeking a Maintenance III-Electrical with proven electrical maintenance experience to join our Facility Maintenance team in Mocksville, NC. This role supports district facilities with advanced maintenance, repair, and preventive tasks across building systems, reporting to the Director of Facilities.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent and NC driver's license, with a starting date immediately and a typical 8-hour day for 12 months.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in building maintenance or a skilled trade preferred.
  • Completion of trade-related training or industry certifications preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license.
  • State licensure or advanced trade certification may be required based on duties.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced maintenance, repair, installation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of facilities, equipment, and building systems.
  • Inspect facilities, identify maintenance needs and ensure safety and functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex maintenance problems.
  • Perform complex installation projects and renovations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and complete maintenance projects and maintain work orders.
