Job summary
Spartanburg County School District 6 District Maintenance in Spartanburg, South Carolina, seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance staff across Dorman High School and related campuses, ensuring safe, functional facilities for instructional activities. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate/technical degree or relevant coursework preferred.
- At least three years in building/facilities maintenance preferred.
- Experience in two or more maintenance disciplines preferred.
- Valid South Carolina driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise, coordinate, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
- Assign daily work, establish priorities, monitor progress, ensure completion.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to maintenance staff.
- Coordinate staffing during emergencies and high maintenance demand.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and safety supplies are available.
